After graduating in 1979, I attended UW-Eau Claire for 1 year and then moved to Arizona where I attended Arizona State University. In 1984, I graduated with a Marketing Degree. Dallas became my home for a couple of years and then I returned to Arizona (missed the mountains, desert and the arid climate). I returned to school and graduated with a B.S. in Nutrition from Arizona State. I have since continued to work as a Clinical dietitian in both the hospital and home care setting.
In 1996, I married my husband Normand who is originally from Quebec, Canada. We met in a local snow-skiing club in Phoenix. He works as a chemist for Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station and also has a side- scuba diving business….he tried to certify me when we first met and then realized I was better staying on the boat versus deep in the water. Before we had kids, I would travel with him to the oceans while he ran his trips……I was perfectly happy just snorkeling.
We had twins in 2001….. Jacques and Luc who are now 13 years old [they are attending a grade school In Phoenix, “St Thomas Aquinas”, and will begin their high school years next year !] We have had so much fun with these boys. They enjoy school and are my go-to guys when it comes to tech and computer questions.
We spend a lot of our spare time traveling to snow ski [still my favorite sport ]in Colorado and Canada and on scuba diving trips . I enjoy going to the gym, hiking, mountain biking, playing tennis and cooking. We plan to stay in Arizona – such a beautiful place!
I would have loved to attend the 2014 reunion but unfortunately was not able to. I ‘m sure a fun time will be had by all. It seems like yesterday that I was at Aquinas-hard to believe that 35 years has passed by. Many fond memories………..I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful time this weekend.
Sincerely, Ann
